MarathonConnection.com was created to help marathon runners connect with each other before and after races. It is the brainchild of a college student who was training abroad for a marathon back home in the United States and wanted a way to meet people before the race (to find a pacing partner) and share his training progress with friends back home. He realized that it could be useful for runners across the country, so he taught himself how to make web pages (with lots of help...) and here it is (well, so far...).
