I ran 15.25 miles today in the rainy, windy, 35 degree weather here in West Lafayette. It was actually a really good run. I kept a constant pace (except for speeding up a little into the wind...weird, I know). The rain and wind were actually the perfect amount to keep the overheating at bay. I wore an UnderArmour Long sleeve and some spiffy Nike leggings, so I was fine to combat the elements. So, gonna take tomorrow off and run my 5-miler on Monday. |

I ran a 5-mile pace run. I ran a little faster than my target pace (6:45). It seems that I have two hard running zones: around 6:30 (really hard) and 7:00 (not too hard). If I see I am running too fast (6:30) and try to slow down, I end up around 7:00 or slower. Its weird. But it was a good run. I don't think I could have kept that pace for much longer, but it was a good, challenging run.
